largest concentration of Buddhist remains can be found at three sites --
Ratnagiri, Udayagiri and Lalitagiri- referred to as the “Diamond Triangle”. The
sites consist of a series of monasteries, temples, shrines, stupas, and
beautiful sculptures of Buddhist images. Their rural setting, amongst fertile
hills and paddy fields is both picturesque and peaceful.

Day
01: Arrival Bhubaneswar
Arrival at Bhubaneswar our Representative will Welcome you and Transfer to Hotel. rest of the day free for own activities, overnight stay at Bhubaneswar.
Day 02 : In Bhubaneswar
Morning After breakfast drive to the full day temples tour of Bhubaneswar famous for beautiful architecture (One of the Most Important Temple, Mukteswar Temple, influenced by Buddhism) Later Odisha State Museum (closed on Monday) with lot of Buddhist Sculptors collected from different Buddhist archeological sites of Odisha and Khandagiri & Udaygiri Jain Caves of 2nd Century B C. Overnight at hotel in Bhubaneswar.
Day 03 : In Bhubaneswar
Morning After breakfast Visit Dhauli Giri is historically adorned with a rock edict erected by the great emperor Asoka the great of maurya dynasty after gruesome battle of kalinga war. After war Asoka renounced all bloody battles and embraced Buddhism and became an ambassador of non violence. The edict here inscribes many of Asoka’s preaching installed in an ancient time dating back to 3rd century is the universal symbol of lord Buddha, the sculpted elephant topping the rock edict. This is a good tourist destination for historians and peace lovers, later on visit Pipili appliqué works and World Heritage site Sun Temple of Konark (Watch the Buddhist influence on this temple) & Famous Jagannath Temple and Back to Bhubaneswar, overnight at Hotel.
Day 04 : In Bhubaneswar
Morning After breakfast start Full day Excursion to Lalitigiri (Archeological site of a Buddhist Monastery from 4th to 8th Century AD) with Monastery parts and many Stupa, all different Buddhist sculptors with Chaita hall and a Huge stupa from where caskets of Buddha’s relic is available, Ratnagiri, the Largest Buddhist monastery, flourished from 4th to 14th century AD with most of sculptors of Vajrayanic sect, hundreds of Votive Stupa & brick Stupa and huge monastery, later visit Udaygiri, another huge Buddhist monastery which still under excavation, back to Bhubaneswar, overnight at Hotel,
Day 05 : In Bhubaneswar
Morning After breakfast start Full day visit Kayam Hill Buddhist cave and Langudi Giri which one of recent excavation with ruins of Monastery, Stupas and lot of Mahayanic sculptors, Five Dhyani Buddha’s, back to Bhubaneswar, overnight at Hotel.
Day 06: In Bhubaneswar
Breakfast at hotel. Our Representative /Tour manager will give you departure transfer to Bhubaneswar airport/railway station for onwards journey.
